How to sign up
- Generate an inbox here and copy the address.
- On the TikTok sign-up screen pick "Use phone or email", then switch to the email tab.
- Enter your date of birth honestly; the age gate is applied to the account, not to the address.
- Paste the address, then read the six-digit code from the message in this inbox and enter it.

Why can I not find the email option on TikTok?
It is behind the "Use phone or email" button rather than on the first screen, and on some app versions the email tab only appears after you tap the phone field once. The web sign-up shows both options immediately.
Will TikTok ask for a phone number later?
It can, usually when you try to go live, receive gifts, or recover the account. Those features are tied to a verified number, and no email address will substitute for one.
How long is the TikTok code valid?
A few minutes at most. Generate the inbox before you start the sign-up rather than after, so that the whole exchange happens inside one short window and the code is still valid when you read it.
What does TikTok send to this inbox?
The six-digit registration code, then login-from-a-new-device alerts and password reset links. If you later switch the account to a business profile, analytics and ad notices arrive here too, which is a reason to move to a permanent address first.
Does TikTok block disposable email providers?
It accepts most addresses at signup but sometimes refuses a specific domain without saying why. Generating a new inbox on a different domain almost always clears it; retrying the same rejected address never does.
Can I switch the account to my real email afterwards?
Yes, in Settings → Account → Email, and TikTok verifies the new address with its own code. Do it while the temporary inbox is still open, because the change flow can also ask you to confirm from the old address.
Is a temporary address enough to go live or monetise?
No. Live access and any monetisation feature attach to a verified identity, and TikTok asks for a phone number and often ID before it opens them. A throwaway inbox is for browsing and posting, not for an account you intend to earn from.
