How to sign up
- Generate an inbox here and copy the address before starting the sign-up.
- Enter your name, date of birth and username in the Snapchat app.
- Paste the address in the email field; Snapchat will then ask for a phone number.
- Confirm the SMS code, then verify the email address from the message in this inbox.

Can I create a Snapchat account without a phone number?
Not reliably. Snapchat requires an SMS verification for almost all new accounts, and the rare sign-up that skips it will be asked for a number at the first login from a different device.
Then why use a temporary address at all?
Snapchat emails heavily about features, streaks and ads, and the address is easy to change later. Registering with a disposable one keeps that traffic out of your real inbox from day one.
Can I change the address on the account later?
Yes, in Settings, and Snapchat confirms the change through the old address first. That means it only works while the temporary inbox is still alive, so do it in the same session or not at all.
What does Snapchat email to this inbox?
The verification link, password reset links, and login alerts from unrecognised devices. Snapchat leans on the phone number for most security flows, so the mailbox sees less traffic here than on other services.
Will the account survive after the inbox expires?
