Is a temporary email against PayPal’s rules?

PayPal’s user agreement requires accurate, current contact information, and an address that stops existing next week arguably fails that test. In practice PayPal responds not by banning the address but by limiting the account until you verify identity, which a throwaway signup cannot do.

Can I receive money on a PayPal account created this way?

Receiving often works once; withdrawing is the trap. Withdrawals need a linked and confirmed bank account or card, and any review along the way is resolved by email. The realistic outcome is money sitting in an account you can watch but not empty, which is worse than not receiving it.

What is the legitimate use, then?

What does PayPal email to this address?
